Mirren Waters
Mirren accepts briefs in all areas of law but specialises in commercial litigation with a focus on contract law and equity. Mirren appears in the District Court, Supreme Court, Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court and NCAT.
Mirren was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2002 and worked in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dubai, Vienna and Moscow before returning to Australia and being admitted in New South Wales in 2018. Mirren was called to the NSW Bar in 2019.
Mirren has significant sector experience in banking, finance, energy, infrastructure and renewables and is known for her pragmatic and detail focussed approach to complex documentation and structures.
Mirren completed her BA (1st Class Hons) at the University of Sydney and went on to obtain her LLB (Upper 2nd) from University College London where she also worked as research assistant to Professor Norman Palmer QC. A CV is available on request.
